I implied in my work that the current political actions and thinking in both America and higher levels in the uk was perhaps fanning the flames of terrorism, making it an aspirational goal to a whole new generation of would be terrorists, rather than bringing the peace and return to humanity most people crave, that perhaps the roots of terrorist murder were perhaps deeper and more subtle than either bombs or armies could penetrate, that the infinite justice of the American military might just backfire on us all.
